CALL FOR PAPERS

We are excited to announce that GVU Journal of Humanities, a journal of the College of Humanities, Glorious Vision University (formerly Samuel Adegboyega University) Ogwa Edo State is accepting papers for its Vol.8, Number 1 due for publication by May, 2024. The journal welcomes articles exploring any area in the Humanities such as Languages, Linguistics, Literature, Music, Performing Arts, History, Philosophy, Religious Studies, Fine Arts, Cultural Studies, etc. It is a journal of interdisciplinary reflections on contemporary human society published bi-annually. It publishes scholarly articles that emphasize research, development and application within the field of humanities.

GUIDELINES FOR CONTRIBUTORS

Contributors’ papers must be original, not previously or simultaneously published or under review elsewhere. Intended papers must be written in English or French and should have sound arguments and impeccable grammar. The submissions should be double-spaced on A4 papers typed with Times New Roman (font size 12) and not exceeding 15 pages including abstract and references. All articles should conform to the Kate Turabian (6th edition) or MLA or APA (6th edition) documentation style. The references should be arranged alphabetically and the references section should be placed at the end of the manuscript. Please ensure you check all your citations for completeness, accuracy and consistency. The submissions must be prepared in Microsoft Word format only. Articles that meet the standards of the journal may be considered for publication as soon as they are peer-reviewed, accepted, copyedited, and proofread. This edition will be published online and in print.

Contributors are expected to pay #5000 to the journal’s account (Bank: Union Bank, Name: Sau Journal, Account number; 0044234286) as an assessment fee while submitting their articles and the evidence of payment is to be scanned and sent to the journal’s email. Contributors whose papers are accepted after peer review are expected to pay to the same bank account the sum of #20,000 as publication charges.
